LB and Tony Bryant playing some Georgia Blues on the side yard. Got to play my old Larrivee L-05 that was at the jam with the new owner. I love that guitar.

Accepting my invitation to the blues from my friends who are like big brothers to me. These are two people I consider my mentors. The encyclopedia of 1920/30s music Ross Peadboy Pead in the middle and the master of the blues Mr Bill Sheffield. If you don't have Bill's CD "Journal On a Shelf" it's a must own for any blues collection.

Two old friends captured in a perfect moment. This photo really does grab the personalities of these two unknown greatly talented heros of mine. That Ross smile is worth a million dollars.

My good buddy Eddie Hinton and Myles Loud are both lefties so Eddie was borrowing his guitars for various jams. It's not often you meet other lefties and get to try other guitars. Eddie is a real talent. Tony is just idling while Ross and others chat about the music.

Left to right Bing Hunt, Paul Woolson, Pete Readey, Tim McKnight, Alan Porton, James Burkett, Jon Burdon. What a table full of great folks. The weather was amazing.

Kelvyn Evans talking with Bob Mahfood.

Luthier Tim Mcknight teaching his guitar setup class

George Mitchell getting deeply into the music of his oil can bass.

Peadboy showing us a few cool licks!

Me trying to explain my whacked out way of thinking of rag blues chord progressions. I learned a lot too. I learned better ways to explain this stuff by interacting with others. I think it's important to note that when teaching happens we all learn in both directions. Carle is to the left giving me some advice on how to describe my methods. Good tips and now I can probably teach this even better next time. I think this lesson did open many eyes to a simple way of remembering chords and patterns in blues.

My lovely wife Kay finally eating and one of my best friends on earth Magic Fred Pitman.

Left to right Chili Bill, Dr Mike, Adrian, John Cooley.
